Once again, members of the House Judiciary Committee are holding another hearing regarding the Clinton emails. Observing nearly five hours of the questioning of Assistant Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Chris Wray it became clear Republican members do not understand the job of these agencies. These agencies have guidelines that must be followed. The information they are asking for is currently unavailable and it may never be available. And are they truly in need or deserving to have access to this data?
As an observer, a citizen I was appalled at the behavior of several committee members. Their rude, aggressive, and bullying behavior was not only unnecessary it was unprofessional and should not be allowed. The committee appeared to be focused on intimidating and discrediting Rosenstein.
I’m not sure who is the mastermind behind this strategy, but while it may not be illegal, it definitely smells like the swamp. Is this what Mitch McConnell has been up to all of his political career or has power taken control and turned him into a heartless, power monger. Is this the legacy he has been working toward? He will be remembered as single handedly rewriting the rules. Only Republicans have been able to make any progress since the Republicans took over the house and senate. He is making ever effort to turn this into a conservative nation. He wants to turn back the clock. Many folks forget the progress we have made. We are slowly and surely already losing some of the ground we have made.
The Trump curse is upon us. Those that comply with dishonest behavior and forsaking all others will have to live with the consequences of their actions
