Sacramento County 1 article

Sacramento County contains California's state capital and nearby suburban and unincorporated communities, with Sacramento as its seat. Government employment, health services, logistics and agriculture shape the regional economy, while Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova have distinct development patterns. The Sacramento and American rivers bring recreation and critical flood-management responsibilities. Housing growth, transit and Delta water issues influence planning across the county.
