Santa Monica 1 article

Santa Monica is a Los Angeles County coastal city with a beachfront, public pier, commercial districts and extensive residential neighborhoods. Tourism and offices contribute to its economy, while the Metro E Line provides rail access to the Los Angeles region. Local concerns include rental housing, coastal bluff stability, traffic, active transportation and redevelopment of public land. The city's municipal government is separate from Los Angeles, despite the two cities sharing a continuous urban area.
