Greater Los Angeles 1 article

Greater Los Angeles refers to a broad metropolitan region centered on Los Angeles and its surrounding labor, housing and transport markets. Orange County and many Inland Empire communities share significant commuting and economic connections, although statistical and everyday definitions vary. The Los Angeles Basin, San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys, ports and airports are central features. Its scale is much wider than either the incorporated city or Los Angeles County alone.
