San Bruno 1 article

San Bruno is a San Mateo County city immediately west of San Francisco International Airport, where lowland neighborhoods rise toward the Peninsula hills. BART and Caltrain stations, Interstate 280 and airport roads make it an important travel junction. Tanforan's former racetrack and commercial site contribute to local history, while ridgelines near San Bruno Mountain define the northern landscape. Its municipal boundaries should not be confused with the airport or nearby South San Francisco.
